Speed Insights measures Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS, FCP, TTFB) in your visitors’ browsers. Each measurement carries the route, device type, browser, country and deployment. Marketplace connector: it creates the Speed Insights drain. The drain requires Speed Insights Plus on the project (10perprojectpermonthonPro,plus10 per project per month on Pro, plus 0.65 per 10,000 events).

Worth knowing

  • The free tier (10,000 events per rolling 30 days) is shared by the whole team. When it runs out, Vercel pauses collection for every project for at least 14 days.
  • Speed Insights doesn’t collect from browsers that report navigator.webdriver = true, which most automated test browsers do. Synthetic checks don’t show up in it by default.
