Collections and datasets
The Collections and Datasets table lists the data available in your account. Use it to search collections or datasets, inspect volume, see parser assignments, review team and tag metadata, and add new data sources. Top-level summary cards show ingest volume, search quota usage, and data quality. Use the Explore actions on the ingest and search cards to open the corresponding usage explorer.Usage Dataset
Bronto automatically provides a usage dataset for both Search and Ingestion when an account is created, enabling you to monitor key metrics.- Search: Metrics are logged every 2 minutes, capturing usage per dataset and collection.
- Ingestion: Metrics are also logged every 2 minutes, tracking ingestion usage per dataset and collection.
Usage explorers
Usage is accessed from My Data. Use the ingestion and search explorers to analyze usage patterns, compare datasets and collections, and understand quota consumption.Ingestion Explorer
The Ingestion Explorer shows total ingestion volume, average daily ingestion, and a grouped breakdown over the selected time range. Toggle between Volume and Cost views, group by dataset, collection, team, or tag, and apply filters to narrow the results.Search usage
The search usage view helps you understand how search quota is being consumed across datasets, collections, teams, tags, and users. Use it to identify high-volume searches and monitor quota usage during the month.Usage alerts
From My Data, click Usage Alerts to view existing alerts or create a new usage alert. Alerts can notify you when monthly search or ingestion usage exceeds a threshold that you define. To create an alert, provide an alert name, description, threshold value, and destination. Bronto can deliver usage alerts to an email address or an existing webhook.REST API
